La cupule Maxera fournit une option céramique-céramique compatible avec les têtes de grand diamètre pour les patients les plus jeunes et les plus actifs. Elle possède un design hémisphérique établi8,11,12 qui fournit une stabilité accrue2–6en utilisant une technique chirurgicale connue.  La cupule Maxera fournit aux chirurgiens un système offrant une grande amplitude de mouvement1,2 et un couple de frottement à faible taux d’usure7–9 afin de permettre aux patients de retrouver leur style de vie actif.
